In recognition that Dutch Forces helped defend Darwin and Northern Australia at the outbreak of the Pacific War in WW2.
The flag is polyester fabric flag. Colours are;
Top - Horizontal Bar is red.
Middle - Horizontal Bar is white.
Bottom - Horizontal bar is blue.
There is a white strong binding on the spine. There is a small nylon cord loop at each end of the spine.
