Historical information

During WWII, Australian field chaplains provided spiritual and moral support to soldiers in the field, often taking on dangerous and physically demanding duties. They also oversaw burials, counseled individuals, and helped maintain morale through activities such as religious services, lectures, and entertainment.

Physical description

Black fabric WWII Field Chaplain's stole with the FC symbol and a crown embroidered at each end and service ribbons attached at chest height. The bottom edges are scalloped.
