Mr. R. Graham Carey (1874 - 1959), who claimed to be the oldest pilot in the world, had his ancient Farman “pusher” aeroplane on display at the Motor Show in the Exhibition buildings, Melbourne. Mr Carey flew the plane at Port Melbourne on 12th May 1937, the coronation of King George VI.
