Physical description

Set of metal forceps. Item very broadly resembles a pair of scissors, with two finger grips at one end, and cutting teeth at the other. There is a ratchet on the shaft of the forceps just below the finger grips to lock the forceps into position. The cutting end of the forceps slants away from the body of the forceps at a 45 degree angle, with each forcep blade having five cutting 'teeth'. the End of each blade is rounded at the tip, above the teeth.
Engraved text on the forceps reads 'MAYER & MELTZER LONDON'.
