Significance

Throughout nursing history, patients have required assistance to defecate, and the use of enema sets was common practice.

Physical description

Monometal cylindrical enema can. Rounded for 2/3rd and flat back with tag with hole in it at the top and nozzle at bottom of can to attach enema tubing to. Top edge (lip) of opening is rounded.
