Historical information

This handbag is a prime example of the popular style of the 1930s. The flamboyance of the art deco period is clearly seen in its geometrical beading.
The internal pocket and coin purse however demonstrate that despite its extravagant decorations this bag was made with practicality in mind.

1930's Black moire silk hand beaded evening bag with a click closure .Red/orange silk lining 1 internal pocket and a kiss clasp coin purse with leather lining.
