Book had belonged to Mary Clake's father, Lionel Tree Wilson, son of original owner Edwin Lionel Wilson. In addition to being a councilor E Lionel Wilson was an accountant, auditor for the Royal Melbourne hospital and first secretary of the Victorian Football league, a position he held for 30 years.
Illustrated book bound in green cloth. On the front cover, stamped in gilt, is a coat of arms featuring a lion and a unicorn (City of Prahan), there are also four parallel lines embossed at top and bottom. On the spine alternative title 'the History of Prahan 1836-1924' author's name, publishers name and four lines at the base, are stamped in gilt
