Historical information
Student Handouts prepared by the School of Military Survey for students to understand and learn about the maintenance and cleaning of the Wild B8 Stereoplotter. The Wild B8 Stereoplotter was a very sophisticated and accurate instrument for the extraction of topographical features from stereo aerial photography and was the main instrument used for that purpose by the Royal Australian Survey Corps for the latter part of its existance. The handout covers specific instructions for the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning and on-going maintenance of the instrument.
