Physical description
Set of surgical forceps, made of metal. Instrument consists of a set of scissor like handles, with small flat hook extensions protruding from the inner/central side on both sides which lock together to keep the forceps closed. The two arms of the forceps are fastened by a pin at lower centre. Each arm of the forceps ends in an oval shaped pad. The inner surface of one pad contains four spikes equidistant to each side of the pad at top, bottom, left and right. and four circular indents centrally located between each spike. The surface of this pad is corrugated for grip. The surface of the second pad contains four equidistant holes on each side of the pad at top, bottom, left and right to match the spikes on the first pad. The centre of the second pad has a concave section with a large hole at the centre.
