In 1935 the government of Australia formed the Commonwealth Survey Committee to advise and coordinate mapping efforts within Australia. This document describes the need to expand the numbers of members representing various organisations to that Committee. The 15 x paragraphs aim to explain the need and rationalization behind the expanding of the Commonwealth Survey Committee. Whilst the document is not dated it has a handwritten note "c1945" believed to be the approximate date of the original document.
