Historical information
The honour board lists the names of Sunbury residents and former students of Sunbury State School, who enlisted for service in World War 1. When the photograph was taken it was on display in the former George Evans Museum and was on loan from the Sunbury State School. It has been returned to the school where it is currently located.
Significance
The Honour Board is a valuable resource as it is a record of many early Sunbury residents who enlisted in the 1914 - 1918 World War.
