Historical information
In 1994, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria (AFV) held a "Warm Up For Winter Dance" as a fundraising event during National Arthritis Week. The dance, which was held at the San Remo Ballroom, had a multicultural theme and featured performances by professional dancers and dance troupes. This photo depicts AFV Physiotherapist, Valerie Sayce, in her role as MC on the night. Some photos from the event appear on page 3 of the Autumn 1994 issue of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria’s quarterly magazine, Arthritis Update, as part of a National Arthritis Week (NAW) feature.
