This Boomerang packet originally contained 60 leaves of pre-cut paper made from rice straw to be used for rolling cigarettes by hand or machine. It was manufactured by the Australian Automatic Cigarette Paper Company, Richmond, Victoria until 1948.

Significance

Rolling one's own cigarettes was a practice of many smokers over many decades.

Physical description

Boomerang Cigarette Papers packet flattened out. White but discolored. Brown Art Deco style lettering with boomerang motif. No papers.
