Historical information
The Australian School Children's Victory Medal was distributed to school children in 1945 to commemorate the end of WW2 in Europe. A similar medallion was distributed to school student at the end of WW1.

Physical description
Silver coloured medallion with red, white and blue ribbon attached. Obverse has an embossed image of a Knight in chain mail holding a sword. Map of Australia in background. Reverse has an embossed line map of the Southern Hemisphere continents. Hole with metal loop attached at top of medallion.

Stamped on Observe: '1945'.
Stamped on Reverse: 'VICTORY MEDAL'.
