Set of two drawings or sketches dated 20-2-1945, showing the layout of the armature bearings and the location of the retaining pin for Westinghouse 225 and General Electric GE 202 Armature bearings, both the gear and opposite to the gear side. Would have been used by SECV fitters at the depot, making up new bearings. This type of bearing was used on the four-wheel trams.

Significance

Yields information about the position of retaining pins on two types of tram motors used by the SECV Ballarat.
