The cottage is one of the few remaining early houses still standing in Barkly Street in Sunbury. It is on the south-west corner of Barkly and Harker Streets.

Physical description

A non-digital coloured photograph of a weather board late Victorian cream cottage with a red colour bond roof and dark green trim around the sash windows.There is a verandah across the front of the house with red decorative iron lace work under the guttering. The house has two chimneys.
