Historical information

The bluestone building is the historic Industrial School, which is in the grounds of the former Sunbury Asylum. The historic building underwent careful restoration to become Sunbury Primary School in the late 1990s. In 1999 Sunbury Primary School ceased operation in the Federation building in Macedon Street and took over occupancy of the restored Industrial School.

Physical description

A non-digital coloured photograph of a Victorian style bluestone building with a pitched iron roof and a small front verandah. there is also a white weatherboard building some distance from the main building. An open grassed area with a scattering of trees is in the foreground where children are playing.
