Physical description

1. Quarto size exercise book. The cover is of a blue marbling design. In the centre is a white area, similar to a plaque. It has a circle at the top of it with a rampant horse. The book has a number of lined pages. It has a cotton cloth binding, Subjects include, Aero Electrics, Tools, and Building Designs.
2. Quarto size exercise book, Front cover is blue marbling. There is a wedge shape in the centre. It has the makers name and blank lines. Above that is a circle in which is a drawing of a knight slaying a dragon.
3. Quarto Exercise book. It has two covers of blue marble cardboard. Front is similar to No. 2 above.

1. Written on front is "41707, The Good Book", "ACI Simons (J.S.T.T.)",
2, Written on front is "41707 A.C.I. Simons F. 12.1 TFM ACI E8"
3. Written on first cover is "41707" but the rest is illegible. Writen on second cover is "ACI Simons F. 121 TFM. IFS Ascot Vale. 2 Wing 41707".
