This image is of Sgt. Richard Oliver TAYLOR. 1st A.I.F. Born Castlemaine, in 1894. Previous service was as a Colour Sergeant in 'A' Coy, with the 66th (Mt Alexander) Infantry - Militia. Enlisted AIF 25 AUG 1915. WIA twice. RTA 3 APR 1919. Discharged from AIF 18 MAY 1919.

Portrait black and white picture of an Australian soldier in a pose position at a studio. Picture stuck onto a grey edged piece of cardboard. Soldier has Sergeant's stripes and photo taken in Castlemaine.
