At top right of the front cover is a small square white sticker on with the previous catalogue number [handwritten in black ink] At the bottom right of the front cover the name 'Katherine Craig-? Jones has been written in black ink. At the base of front end-page is a printed black and white donation sticker: black Maltese cross in circle, "This book was donated to Alfred Archival Association Nursing Division by 'Jean Barrie' [handwritten in black ink]. At the top right of the title page the name 'Thelma Barrie' is written in black ink

Summary

A series of eighteen lectures for nurses [ca.1900] "to enable them to learn more about the diseases from which their patients are suffering; the explanation of their symptoms, and the object of their treatment". There is also an additional section: 'Precautions to be observed by nurses when engaged in nursing cases of infectious diseases'
