Physical description

A very damaged brown softcover book with the title, Second Book of the Victorian Readers printed in black lettering on the front cover with a black outlined illustration of a young girl sitting on a chair reading a book. The cover is coming away from the spine which has green tape binding it. The title page has publishing information and a symbol of the Education Department of Victoria and crest inside a circle in the middle of the page. There are short stories, poems and black and white with some coloured illustrations. Neil Chapman is written in ink on the title page at the top. Pp.104
