Designed and worked by a student of the Glasgow School of Art - teacher Miss K. Whyte. Bought by Mrs E. Oates for the Guild on a trip to Britain in 1963-64.
Surface stitchery on rough surfaced linen(?), the square central design is carried out in soft shades of pink, mauve and olive green, in a variety of stitches.
