Made by donor's grandmother in 1860 (Mrs Henry Atkinson-Blackham)
Canvas and bead work. Background in gros point wool in two tones of maroon red. A bold design worked in large beads of black, dark grey, white and crystals with highlights of gold. Back made from red woollen fabric, the edge decorated with a multi-coloured silk cord.
