Sleeve band is believed to have been brought from China by a sea captain.
Turquoise blue silk band embroidered in a delicate design of flowers, birds, butterflies and insects in classical Chinese style. The edge is bound with black silk worked with a bright blue design and the lining is a magenta brocade.
