Purchased from a Dr. Toole, working in a Laotian refugee camp Ban-nam-yao in the north east of Thailand near Chieng Mae. Under his direction he is encouraging the refugees to make these panels for selling.
Applique in many colours with the addition of a series of borders of varying widths with a small amount of surface stitchery.
