Donor's note - purchased in Brussels 1912 and which the donor called a 'Bertha'. When received this and No. 648 were blouses of tussore silk onto which the embroidered parts of an original peasant blouse was inserted.
Handwoven cotton material with geometric design in cross stitch of red, blue, brown and green. The edge has been buttonholed.
