Commission and purchased by Guild funds, November 1985 from Verina Warren, an English embroidery designer. She is mentioned in the top 12 British embroiderers Book by Diana Springall.

Physical description

A picture of rural English landscape, mainly in blues and greens. A picture within a picture. Inner picture painted and over embroidered by hand and machine. Inner frame, narrow wrapped in green (rayon?). Surround dyed/painted silk and embroidered with lower quart thick card, painted with grasses. Mount - green card. Gold frame.
