Embroidered for the 150th anniversary of Victoria. Presented to the Collection by the participants in February 1987. Makers listed on reverse of hanging.

Physical description

Canvas wall hanging made up of 63 panels commemorating Victoria's 150th anniversary in 1985. Included are the symbols for this anniversary, the Guild and the Guild house. Lower right corner has the initials W.S. (Win. Saunders) who co-ordinated the project, having members (listed on the reverse of wall hanging). Work 15 cms. squares. Lined with purple cotton, 10 loops across top through which a brass rod is passed.
