Originally the garment belonged to the donor's mother, Mrs Arthur Hordern (Ethel), and the initials are hers.
White cotton, all handsewn. Bib front is of lace and tucks, and lace edges, the neck and sleeves. Front opening under lace of hand-made buttons.
