Tassels were attached to furniture belonging to donor's great grandmother and probably date from 1870's or 1880's.
Great-grandmother was born in London in 1842 and sailed with her family to Australia in 1852. She died in 1926.
Pair of tassels are made on silvery blue/green and beige/gold silk.
