From the collection of the late Dr. Georgina Sweet, who was the first woman veterinarian in Victoria and who travelled extensively in Middle Europe in the Early 20th century.
Red, green, pink, blue, gold and black thread (cotton?) on open weave cotton. Mounted on close-woven cotton. Motifs worked in straight stitch. Two areas of embroidery, one on back of cap, other as a band over top and sides.
