Mat was embroidered by the donor's aunt - Mrs Gretchen Fuiche from a design she obtained in Germany in 1939
Cross stitch mat in red, blue and green design. Stranded cotton, the stylised tulip design appears to be a traditional German design (refer to 1151 which has an identical design)
