Acquired by friends of the donor who were missionaries in China.
Bound piece from Chinese Mandarin's robe. Silk and gold embroidery on green silk. It has a number of symbolic motifs and a major sized 4 fringed dragon which denotes a person of high rank. Piece is bound with black silk.
