This is typical of samplers done in England and Europe about 1800, with alphabet and numbers at the top. Then "Ann Crow her work - Aged 11 years Dec the 24th 1800". Then a poem "Virtue", then a number of spot designs of animals and plants. Border of strawberries surrounds part of it.
