Verse on sampler
Swift as the winged arrow flies,
My time is hastening on.
Quick as the lightning from the skies
My wasting moments run.
My follies Past O God forgive
My every sin subdue
And teach me henceforth how to live,
with glory in thy view.
Above lower border
"Done at the Catholic School Sedgley"
