Donor's letter:
Purchased at the antique market in Moscow. According to the seller, the set's origin is Derbyshire, England, and it moved to Russia with the family of professional immigrants before 1917. Unfortunately, there are no confirming documnets, however, the style of the set is close to the early 19th century.

Hand-mirror, hairbrush and clothes brush on metal frames with a floral motif on each, stitched in petit point on gauze (silk?) in a soft green.
