Discussed with RSN Historian Dr Isabella Rosner and Dr Lynn Hulse, textile scholar and practitioner, specialising in embroidered furnishings of the Aesthetic and Arts and Crafts period.
Piece can possible be dated to between 1895-1910. The pattern may well have been printed in an Art Needlework magazine of the period.
