Brought to Australia by ancestors of donor, Captain David H Warington. Donor unsure who stitched the sampler. Maternal grandfather was German and maternal grandmother was born in Australia (lived near Rapid Bay, South Australia)

Cross stitch sampler, cotton thread on linen. Inscription with house, trees and 2 crowns, one with initial K and the other with initial B (?)
