Historical information
The two buildings were within the former Sunbury Asylum. The red brick older building with the tall chimney was the Boiler House which supplied hot water and heating throughout the Asylum complex .It was built in the 1920s. The three story cream brick building was built some time in the late 1950s and it was the Nurses' Quarters until the Asylum closed down in 1992.
