Administrative record titled "Linesman's special report" providing details of call outs/repairs to the tramway overhead including poles for the period 4/12/1979 to 5/3/1981 - includes location, fault description, why caused, nature of repairs, times and the names of the crew involved in the work. Book was also used to retain newspaper cuttings about tramways. On the front cover has form 3/268 "Truck Dirver's Running Journal" glued to it.
Significance
Yields information about nature of the day to day repair work undertaken by the overhead linesmen on the Melbourne system in c1980.
