The UKVCA commenced in 2013 to give the community a voice on current issues and to improve communication with the Alpine Shire and other government bodies.

Significance

The UKVCA enabled the local people and businesses to communicate with the Alpine Shire and local government bodies. Issues were those affecting the community. The UKVCA had a representative at every council meeting.
