EastLink (M3) is the 39km freeway in Melbourne's east connecting the Eastern, Monash, Frankston and Peninsula Link freeways. It was constructed by a joint venture of Australian construction companies Thiess Contractors and John Holland, overseen by the Southern and Eastern Integrated Transport Authority (SEITA). EastLink's construction began in March 2005, and the road opened on 29 June 2008.
