This issue featured an article about Helen Gillies, who qualified as a nurse at the Alfred Hospital, after becoming a paraplegic, helen worked as a tutor sister in the School of Nursing at the Alfred Hospital. The story of her life is told in the book 'No time for disability - the helen Gillies Story' by Susan Hudson, 2003
