Book - Hardcover book, Pitman Medical Publishing Company, The London: a study in the voluntary hospital system: volume two, the second hundred years, 1840-1948, 1963

  • Navy blue hardcover book with lighter blue dust jacket. The front cover has a black ornate border around the title (printed in white) and the subtitles and author's name printed in black. In the centre of the cover is a black pen sketch of a man in an oval shape. At the top of the spine is a cream coloured square with the main title printed in black. The subtitle and author details are on the blue part of the spine, also printed in black. At the bottom of the spine is an old catalogue number on a sticker that has been covered in tape, which has yellowed with age.

Hardcover book with a blue dust jacket. The dust jacket has an ornate black border surrounding the title and author information and in the centre is a black pen drawing of a man in an oval template. The spine has a cream coloured box at the top with 'The London' printed in black.
