This handmade metal swan was observed to be nailed to a tree next to Nobelius Station on the Puffing Billy line for some years. Recently, the donor found it in the bushes near the station.
This was presumably made by a local and fixed to the tree so that it would be visible for travellers on the Puffing Billy line
Swan shape outline, cut from flat metal sheet, painted white with minimal orange painted detail for beak and eye.
