Physical description

1. White A5 size paper, blank on one side, official document giving Release of Service of Commissioned Officer, giving detail and conditions of release. Dated, initialled and signed. Granted Officer 733 days of leave prior to release.
2. Letter to Lieutenant Compton expressing thanks for his service and giving him rights and conditions on his release. Contained on a single white sheet of hard paper with War Office Emblem in right hand corner on top.
