Artists statement

Nathan Gray is an artist and experimental musician whose work is optimistic, dynamic and festive. It is often characterised by its utopian or optimistic tones, and dynamic physical construction. Gray builds incredible structures from humble materials, and complex networks from simple ideas. His practice incorporates a multitude of process-based elements, often using a method that parallels brainstorming or mind mapping, in an attempt to explore links between craft, sound, culture and ecology.
