Scenes of destroyed battlefields of WW1.
Part of the William (Bill) Thomason collection. Refer Cat No. 4136P.

Physical description

Various black and white portrait photos of bombed out battlefields in France/Belgium showing wrecked carts and destroyed trenches. Terrain is very flat and the trees are all stripped of foliage indicating heavy bombardment.

Inscriptions & markings

All photos have the name of "R. Wright" on back, some with pencilled numbers.
