In 1887, W. Dwyer, from Riddell's Creek had been contracted by the Shire of Bulla to erect 68 rods (341.9 metres) of railing along a section of Gellies Road. Gellies Road links Wildwood and Lancefied Roads, south of Sunbury. The notice was issued on 17th November 1887 and the cost was 29 pounds and 8 shillings($58.80).
Physical description
A scanned copy of an old tender notice issued to the former Shire of Bulla council by W. Dwyer in 1887. It details the costs of erecting a rail fence in Gellies Siding. The original document was attached to a bundle of other old documents and tied together with a pink ribbon before it was photographed.
