A collection of papers written by students during oral history worshop conducted by the History Department, University of Melbourne,1986. The papers were based on interviews that paticipants made with ordinary people telling of their life experiences in Victoria in the 1920's and 1930's, suggesting that even seemimgly 'uniteresting' lives hold historical value
Significance
Of significance to the AHNL as one of the chapters is on nurse training in the 1920's and 30's, three of the interviewees trained at the Alfred Hospital

Bound illustrated paperback book, red cover with black print. On the front cover the title and publishing details are printed above and below photograph of a family group from the 1920's.
